Not Every Organisation Can Join GivingFridays.
Before an organisation can be listed and receive donations through GivingFridays, it must first meet the applicable requirements and complete the required checks by the payment provider.

As the payment provider, DOKU carries out the required verification and due diligence before an organisation can use its payment services.

Once the applicable requirements and DOKU verification process have been completed, the organisation can complete its GivingFridays onboarding before being listed on the platform.
Only Then Can the Organisation Be Listed on the Platform.
This process helps ensure that organisations listed on GivingFridays have completed the required steps before they can receive donations through the platform.
Clear responsibilities: GivingFridays is not a licensing authority and does not replace DOKU's verification process. Each organisation remains responsible for meeting the applicable requirements, while payment-provider verification is carried out by DOKU.
