A heartfelt thank you to MAPIM and all attendees for the incredible opportunity to participate in the Rebuilding Planning Session held on 10th – 11th February 2024 in Shah Alam, Malaysia. It was an honor to collaborate with international delegates under MAPIM’s guidance as we strategized for post-war reconstruction.
The session, graced by esteemed figures like Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, the Malaysian Minister of Health, highlighted our collective commitment to aiding post-war recovery. Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad’s announcement of the Health Ministry’s proposal to construct a hospital marked a significant step forward, demonstrating tangible support for our rebuilding efforts.
As we reflect on the session, we are reminded of the immense impact of collaboration and collective action. Philanthropists from various countries generously contributed approximately RM30 million in donations, driving positive change and inspiring hope.
