Mr. Hairmann Hayak, Managing Director of Giving Fridays, attended an Official Iftar gathering on April 23, 2022, at the Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore (MCAS).

MCAS is a religious organization that delivers educational opportunities via lectures, courses, and other activities to the Malay Muslim community in Singapore.

It was a musical evening in the form of a Buka Puasa gathering, held in conjunction with the official launch announcement of Project Ansar. The event was attended by various representatives of Malay Muslim Organizations.

The President of MCAS, Mr. Muhammad Imran Kuna, gave an inspiring speech during the event on Project Ansar. His stories touched the hearts of many, including Mr. Hairmann who thought to himself, ‘I’ll follow this guy!”

Mr. Imran Kuna is a man who influences religious as well as organizational leaders through his words and actions.

In his speech, he expressed his dedication towards proactively approaching the new Muslim converts to provide them support on not only financial grounds, but also emotional and moral levels which, according to him, is a dire need of the day.

After the speech, he recited the beautiful Azan for the attendees to break their fast.

It is indeed not easy for a person who was born in a different faith to make the decision to not only enter the fold of Islam wholeheartedly but devote his days to running an association to support other new Muslims as well.

It is our pride to know that we have strong organizations like MCAS that are there to support the Muslim converts every step of the way.

The cross-cultural fabric of the members and community of MCAS represents the essence of harmonious living in a multi-racial country that transcends global boundaries.

May Allah reserve a place in Jannah for all members of MCAS and other such organizations.!
