The Community Painting Project for Embrace held on 26th February 2023 was a great success. The event brought together residents, artists, and collaborators from various organizations to paint panels that will be publicly displayed at the Jurong East MRT columns. The project’s main objective was to promote racial harmony and unity in the community, and it was heartwarming to see everyone coming together to achieve this goal.
One of the highlights of the event was the arrival of MP Grace Fu, who joined in the painting with the community. Her presence and participation in the event were a significant boost to the project’s objective. After the painting session, there was a sharing session by the project’s collaborators, where they spoke about their involvement in the project and what it meant to them. This session was enlightening and gave everyone a better understanding of how different organizations are working towards promoting racial harmony.
Finally, the event ended with a photo-taking session of all the collaborators with MP Grace Fu, marking the launch of Embrace. The Community Painting Project for Embrace was a remarkable event that brought the community together to promote a common goal. It was inspiring to see so many people coming together, putting aside their differences and working towards a common objective. It is hoped that events like this will continue to bring the community together and promote racial harmony and unity.
