Register with DOKU.
List of documentations required.

We may, solely at our own discretion, provide our services to other organizations based in Singapore or in other countries.

Conditions to be a Recipient.

A. Legitimate entity
Currently, DOKU services are available only for organisations operating in Indonesia.

You should be one of the following:

  1. Religious Organization
  2. Muslim Organization
  3. Registered Foundation (Yayasan) or Non-Profit Organisation

Your organisation must be a properly registered legal entity in Indonesia and authorised to conduct fundraising activities.

If you are one of the above entities and want to be listed on our website, please register at https://givingfridays.com/be-our-recipient/ or contact us at support@givingfridays.com. This service is not available to individuals.

B. Register with our Payment Gateway.
GivingFridays connects donations directly to your organisation’s payment gateway account.

For recipients operating in Indonesia, we support DOKU, a leading Indonesian payment gateway enabling card payments and local payment methods.

If your organisation already has an approved DOKU merchant account, you may skip this step. Please note that rates may vary depending on your existing agreement with DOKU.

All payment gateways will conduct Know Your Client (KYC) checks on applicants. Due to the nature of charitable contributions, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) may also be required.

Upon successful onboarding, your organisation will receive a unique merchant account used to process donations through GivingFridays.

Please submit the following documents directly to DOKU for compliance review and merchant account activation.

From this stage onward, you will liaise directly with DOKU until your merchant account has been fully approved.
